Dustin SanVido leads the Estates Bond Program at Ai Insurance Organization. With over 10 years of independent brokerage experience in Canadian fiduciary bonding, his practice spans estate administration bonds, guardianship bonds, foreign executor bonds, and cross-border matters between Canada and the United States. He is the principal US-licensed surety producer in the organization, licensed across multiple American states, giving the program direct placement capability on both sides of the border. Where do you place estate bonds?
- All fifty US states and every Canadian province except Quebec, which follows a separate civil-law system built around the liquidator rather than the executor or administrator.
Do I need a lawyer to get an estate bond?
- No. Many of our files come directly from executors and administrators handling the estate themselves. Where a lawyer is already acting on the estate, we work alongside them and keep them in the loop.
